Princess Peach & Luigi Costumes: Easy and Fun for Any Mama and Her Little Gamer!

Hey there, rad mamas! It’s that time of year again—costume season is upon us, and I couldn’t resist sharing our latest DIY costume creations that turned out to be a total hit. Whether you’re a fan of getting crafty or just love an excuse to dress up, these Princess Peach and Luigi costumes were so fun and simple to put together.

Princess Peach for the Rad Mama

Let’s start with my costume—Princess Peach! I’m all about embracing the fun of being a mom, and what better way to do that than by getting in on the costume action myself?

Here’s how I pulled it off:

What I Used:

  • A pink tulle skirt (because you can't be a princess without some tulle, right?!)

  • A graphic tee with Princess Peach (gotta keep it comfy for us mamas!)

  • A Princess Peach crown was bought but could simply be made (super easy—just some craft foam, paint, and a glue gun)

How I Made It:This look is all about comfort and fun. I found the Princess Peach tee online, paired it with a fun tulle skirt, and voila, instant princess vibes! The crown was the cherry on top, literally!

Luigi for My Little Dude

Now, let’s talk about my little guy’s Luigi costume—seriously, how cute is he?! He’s been obsessed with Luigi, and this DIY costume was perfect for his big personality.

What We Used:

  • A green shirt

  • Blue overalls

  • Luigi cap (store-bought, but you can totally DIY this too!)

  • Fake https://a.co/d/f2EMMgs (because it’s not Luigi without one!)

How We Made It:This costume was all about keeping it simple and cute. We started with a pair of blue overalls we already had, paired them with a green shirt, and added that iconic Luigi cap. For the final touch, we slapped on a fake mustache—instant Luigi! He was jumping and posing as Luigi all day, and it was a joy to see how much fun he had being his favorite video game character.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for easy, DIY costumes that don’t require a ton of time or effort, these Princess Peach and Luigi outfits are perfect for you and your little ones. The best part? You can mix and match items you already have in your closet or add your own creative twist!

I hope this post inspired you to get creative with your costumes! Let me know in the comments if you have any DIY costume ideas or if you’ve tried your own versions of these!
