Planning a birthday party for your soon-to-be 7-year-old can be a lot of fun, especially when the theme revolves around something they absolutely love. If your child is a fan of Among Us, the wildly popular game of mystery and teamwork, you’re in for an adventure! With a little creativity and planning, you can transform your space into a crewmate-worthy celebration.
Here’s how to pull off the ultimate Among Us party
Decorations: Transforming the Space
Set the stage by recreating the spaceship vibe:
Color Palette: Stick with the primary colors of the crewmates: red, blue, green, yellow, and black.
Balloons: Get crewmate-shaped balloons or use plain balloons with printed cutouts of visors.
Brought these from Amazon https://a.co/d/ikYkcf5

The Cake
The centerpiece of the party was the Among Us crewmate cake. This simple but effective design brought the character to life! Here's how I did it:
Shape: I baked a rectangular cake and trimmed it into the classic crewmate shape.
Icing: The cake was covered in bright blue icing to match a crewmate’s uniform. I made a Egg out of White chocolate, using White and Yellow for colour the icing, in which I covered the White Chocolate. I used white frosting for the helmet area and added some blue shading for dimension.
Topper: A vibrant "Happy Birthday" topper added the perfect finishing touch.
This cake was easy to customize in terms of color, so you can match your child’s favorite crewmate!
The Pinata
A highlight of the party ALWAYS is piñata.

Design: The pinata was shaped like a crewmate, with green and blue fringe creating a colorful and textured look. I even added a party hat to match the birthday vibe!
DIY or Buy: You can either make one yourself using cardboard and tissue paper or purchase a pre-made pinata and decorate it to fit the theme.
Fillings: We filled ours with candy, small toys, and stickers—a treasure trove of goodies for the kids to enjoy.
The Piñata Table Decor: The table was covered in a gaming-themed tablecloth with matching plates and napkins. Snacks like chips and juice boxes were arranged for easy grabbing during the activities. I kept it simple and easy. Boys wont care, as long as their is snacks.
